Short Bio:

-Bassist with Jeff Robinson Trio since 1995, performing with Amiri Baraka, Patricia Smith, Askia Toure, and Quincy Troupe; and recording “Next On the Mic” (released Aug. 2007, Rounder Records).

-Bassist with Ken Field's Revolutionary Snake Ensemble since 2004, performing in venues in Italy, New Mexico, and Eastern U.S., recording "Live Snakes" (2014) and “I Want That Sound” (2016).

-Bassist with MusAner 2008-2019, performing in venues in the Eastern U.S., tour of Italy and Switzerland (2010), recording "MusAner" (2009) and "Once Upon A Time" (2012).

-Played with Bruce Katz for three years, performing on tours and festivals in Canada, Europe, the U.S., and the U.K., recording “Three Feet off the Ground” (2000, Audioquest).

-Guest soloist with Gamelan Galak Tika playing venues in Eastern U.S., including Alice Tully Hall, Lincoln Center, (2012). Played with Galak Tika for four years, recording "Gamelan Galak Tika" (2000, New World Records), "Dangerous Things" (2002), and "Bronze Age Space Age" (2009). Also played Carnegie Hall in 2004 and toured Bali in 2005 as guest soloist with the group.

-Performed in Oedipus (dir. Robert Woodruff) at the A.R.T., 2004. Performed in OrpheusX (dir. Robert Woodruff) at the A.R.T., 2006, the Edinburgh Int. Festival, 2007, and Hong Kong Int. Festival of the Arts, 2008.
Performed in The Blue Flower (dir. Will Pomerantz) at the A.R.T. 2010/2011, fifteen performances.
Performed in Julius Caesar (dir. Arthur Nauzyciel) at the A.R.T., 2008, followed by tours of France (2009, 2010), and Festival Iberoamericano de Teatro de Bogotá Colombia (2012).

-Performed in Paved Paradise: the Music of Joni Mitchell with John Kelly at the Theater  Offensive Boston, 2007, Hammer Museum, LA 2009, Real Artways, Hartford, 2009, Bard College 2008 and 2010, Austin and Marfa Texas, 2010.

-Performed in Bratislava, Slovakia with Iyeoka and the Rock By Funk Tribe, 2012

-Composed score for play As If We Live To Bear No Scars, 2007.

-Toured Senegal with Ibrahima Camara and Safal, 1998.

-Performances and/or recordings with Iva Bittova, David Murray, Ran Blake, Big Jack Johnson, Duke Robillard, John Sinclair, Peter Wolf, KennyWollesen, Butch Morris, Jon Faddis, David Maxwell, Charles Neville, John Stowell, and David Amram.
